NSE Charity Trading Day04/09/2015
On Friday 4th September, the Nairobi Stock Exchange held it’s annual Charity Trading Day, which sees profits from trades go to a charitable cause. This year, the cause was Borana Wildlife Conservancy, which introduced the endangered Rhinoceros two years ago. The Charity Day was supported by a number of our artists and speakers, whose celebrity influence was key in drawing attention to the NSE Charity Day and raising awareness of the importance of saving rhinos from extinction. AS+A would like to thank Beatrice Marshall, Kiran Jethwa, Eric Wainaina, Aly Khan Satchu, Annabel Onyango, Diana Opoti and Patricia Amira for giving up their time so generously to support the cause. The seven participants were able to encourage trading to an all time high for the day, raising over Kshs 6m for Borana Wildlife Conservancy.
