Isaac Kwaku Fokuo, Jr is a sought-after advisor to governments, investors, startups, private companies and global Fortune 500 companies on the nuances of emerging growth markets.
Kwaku most recently served as the Vice President for Strategy and Linkages for the African Leadership Group (ALG), and CEO of the African Leadership Network (ALN). At ALG, he drove the organization’s key relationships with governments, private institutions, and captains of industry in an effort to connect Africa’s most influential and dynamic leaders. Kwaku is also the founder of the Sino-Africa Centre for Excellence and principal of BOTHO Limited, an investment advisory firm that has managed over USD 900 million in debt and equity across Africa. He is also the co-founder of the Sino-Africa Centre of Excellence, an organization that facilitates partnerships between Chinese and African private and public sector actors.
Recognized in 2014 as an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow and a “Young African Leader to Watch” by Forbes, Kwaku is passionate about investing resources and being part of creative approaches to solve problems across the continent.
He is a graduate of the University of Chicago, Hanover College (where he serves as a Trustee) and Depaul University.
