Eve D’Souza is a popular Radio and TV presenter based in Nairobi, Kenya with 15 years of experience in the media industry. She joined 98.4 Capital FM Nairobi in 2001, started off hosting the mid morning show and quickly moved to take over celebrated youth show, ‘Hits not Homework’ for 10 successful years, winning the CHAT “Best female Radio presenter” award 5 times, as voted by High Schools across Kenya.
In 2010, she moved up to host the Capital FM breakfast show alongside Gaetano Kagwa. In addition to her vast experience as a presenter, she also was the Training Manager and Deputy Programmes Controller at 98.4 Capital FM for five years.
Eve has hosted various TV shows including South African produced “Always Keep moving Dance show”, “The Sprite Emcee Battle on Channel O”, Kenyan Presenter for “Big Brother Africa 3”, “The Triple Challenge game show” on KTN, the live entertainment show “Vibe City” on KTN and Tusker All Stars that broadcasted live across the East African region.
Eve currently is a Director of Moonbeam Productions specializing in producing TV shows. She hosted and produced a travel show “Travel Diaries Kenya” sponsored by the Kenya Tourist Board and KWS. She also currently plays the lead character ‘Varshita’ on Kenya’s popular sitcom ‘Auntie Boss’ which she co produces.
Ciroc vodka sent her to Ibiza Spain for a week to promote their brand on social media alongside other top celebrities in Africa. Eve was also selected by EABL to travel to Morocco and London to push their brand via the #TwendeKazi campaign. She started up a blog www.traveldiarieskenya.wordpress.com and has successfully marketed brands for clients such as Store 66 fashion outlets in Kenya, Ciroc Vodka, Magnum Cream Liqueur, Bosch, Royal Kenya Casino, Agility logistics, Blue band and Safaricom’s mobile video platform.
